D. is a very enigmatic character. I hardly had the opportunity to talk to him about my project or its purpose. He introduced himself to me one day of July, without me having been able to anticipate it in any way. He had observed and heard what I had described to other people in the unit, since he clearly showed his desire to participate in the project. He speaks very little, and seems focused on the shooting. He does not ask me any questions and seems to know exactly what he wants to do. The bond with him is purely photographic. In the end, he is rather satisfied with the result and thanks me on leaving.
