The name of the project "Pairs-Noces or Pers-Noces" comes from a meeting with the expression "per-os", that I heard during my first contact with the unit of Peps, in the company of caregivers who explained to me how it worked. This term, meaning "oral" as opposed to "injection", and while I was not yet looking for a name for this project, remained several days in my imagination. By walking around, the expression eventually distorted, meeting other signifiers and led me to look for words with a close assonance. I ended up finding the association "Pairs-Noces", referring to the peers who help, support, accompany, and Noces, for the party. The other name, "Pers", is a term found in ancient French to designate a color equivalent to a blue-green. The two covenants, "Peers" and "Pers" with “Noces” were both attracting, and I finally did not decide between them. These double names translate for me the collective part of this project, as well as its playful aspects. When we quickly pronounce these names, we can end up with "personne", people who are at the heart of my project ...
